As a leading asset manager we highly value quality. As a result we have implemented our internal control framework accordingly. The client’s relevant part of this framework is tested annually. Since 2 February 2012, ACTIAM issues an International Standard On Assurance Engagements (ISAE) 3402 type II report. With this report ACTIAM shows that it is in control. Control in this respect means that ACTIAM has well-designed processes and these are effective to mitigate material risks. The report is audited by Ernst & Young Accountants LLP.
Organisation and oversight
ACTIAM N.V. is a manager of investment institutions within the meaning of the Dutch Financial Supervision Act. ACTIAM N.V. has its registered office in Utrecht and its principal place of business at Graadt van Roggenweg 250, 3531 AH Utrecht, and is entered in the trade register of the Chamber of Commerce (number 30143634). ACTIAM N.V. is licensed by the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM) to act as a manager of investment institutions, and is registered with the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM).
DUFAS Code for Asset Managers
ACTIAM subscribes to the Code for Asset Managers ('the Code'), as drawn up by the Dutch Fund and Asset Management Association (DUFAS), which is the industry association for the Dutch asset management sector. DUFAS promotes the collective interests of this sector in both the retail market (consumers) and the institutional market (professional investors), which came into effect on 1 October 2014. The Code sets out what clients can expect of their fund and asset managers. ACTIAM subscribes to the Code in its capacity as a member of DUFAS. Once a year, ACTIAM explains how the Code’s ten principles were applied during the previous year in its annual report.
